A huge thank you to everyone who supported the cast and crew of 'Chip-shop-Elvis' last night. A lovely highlight for Hannah was meeting Philip Rambow, the writer of the title song 'There's a guy works down the chip shop swears he's Elvis'. Having the opportunity to sing this song in the show with Philip in the audience was quite surreal! The original was sung by Kirsty MacColl in the 1980s, and charted in the USA and Ireland. There's also apparently a Swedish cover which Hannah has yet to tackle - "Killen ner' på Konsum svär att han är Elvis". Anyway, have a listen - it's a tune!
Hannah is thrilled to have been cast as the 'Princess' in The Last of the Dragons. This family-friendly show has an upcoming run at the Edinburgh Festival (Pleasance) in August. More details to follow!
Hannah has been cast in this brand new musical written by Jennifer Selway and directed by John Plews. The run begins on 16th May up until 28th June at 7.30pm Tues - Sat, and 4pm every Sunday. It is playing Upstairs at the Gatehouse in Highgate which is easily accessible from the Northern Line. For more information and to get tickets, click below:
In the last month, Hannah has been signed by Callanish and Interact. The former played at her own brothers wedding (!) and regularly appear at major corporate events all over Scotland. Interact is a company who employ actors to help train aspiring public servicemen and women (police, doctors etc) in situational role plays. She is excited to start work with both!
Hannah also recently enjoyed a trip down memory lane returning to her former school, Fettes College, to speak to sixth formers about a career in the performing arts. She wishes the upcoming cast of Jesus Christ Superstar the very best for their performances this month!
